The Aadhaar-based portal, E-PRAAPTI, is designed to simplify account tracing, reduce paperwork, and enable UAN linking, making the entire process faster and more user-friendly. By replacing the existing manual process with Aadhaar-based verification, the EPFO aims to minimize the burden on members and past employers, who often have to go through tedious verification processes. This shift towards digital authentication is a significant step forward in modernizing the EPF system.
One of the key strengths of E-PRAAPTI lies in its ability to cater to members with old Member Identification Numbers (MIDs).
